#JusticeForNia: Nia Wilson’s cousins on her music, their favorite memories & more (Exclusive Interview)

The entire Bay Area is reeling from the tragic loss of Nia Wilson, the 18 year old Oakland woman killed Sunday night at MacArthur BART station. Monday we learned that she was also a rapper, who had released a couple of records, and planned to record an album before Summer’s end. Unfortunately that recording could never come to pass. Her cousins and collaborators Young Lee and TiTi stopped by Thizzler HQ to discuss her music, and share their favorite memories of her life.

Though somber, it’s refreshing to hear about the joy the cousins shared with each other. They paint the picture of a passionate young woman who was always willing to ride for her loved ones. They vow to ride for her the same way.

You can support Wilson’s family by donating to their Go Fund Me. You can listen to Girlz N The Hood’s latest single “Fake Sh*t” here.
