East Oakland rapper Keak Da Sneak was shot in Richmond, CA around 5:30am, Monday morning following a show he played in Oakland. Police found him in front of a 76 Gas Station at the intersection of Carlson Boulevard and Imperial Way. Keak Da Sneak who has contributed a ton to the Bay’s rap scene since his debut with Dual Committee in 1992, with various Hyphy Era classics, work as part of 3X Krazy, and his contribution to E-40’s “Tell Me When To Go”, was also shot in January of this year and left with minor injuries.
The 39 year old has reportedly undergone surgery for critical gunshot wounds and is in stable condition. Our prayers go out to the legend Keak and his family as we wish him a full and speedy recovery!
