The Jacka – Video Documentary (Unreleased Footage)

Director Kicket, of @187prod lnked with @TheJacka a while back and captured some dope unreleased footage of the Bay legend.. The Jacka speaks on being signed by C-Bo as part of the Iconic “Mob Figaz” Group in 1999, as well as his music interests growing up. Features appearances from Husalah, Joe Blow, Young Lox, and more.

On February 2, 2015, The Jacka was shot and killed in Oakland. On August 12, he would have turned 38. Dominic Newton aka Shaheed Akbar was one of the most iconic Bay Area rappers. The previously unreleased footage you are about to see dates from late 2010, when Kicket met him at his own house and at a concert in Petaluma. This exclusive #LaCamDeKicket Episode is dedicated to his family and all the Mob Figaz fans worldwide. Mob In Peace The Jacka.

The footage drops on what would have been The Jacka’s 38th birthday. MIP Jacka.

He spent a few weeks mobbing around with Jack & Hus, going to shows, chilling at Jack’s house, and basically doing dope shit. I’m glad to see this finally coming out. Shoutout to the homie Kicket!]
