Directed by Daryn Deluco, the video showcases the influence of the Bay Area in G-Eazy’s early life growing up in Oakland while paying homage to the legendary artists of the region. Produced by Bay Area native Jay Ant with additional production from G-Eazy and Christoph Andersson, the track juxtaposes the infectious hyphy drums with a catchy, yet moody guitar riff inspired by The xx. To reverberate the feel of the song, the video takes viewers on a journey through famous Oakland haunts and G’s old stomping grounds with cameos from notable and up and coming local artists such as Lil B and Jay Ant.
