Rappinโ 4-Tay made his debut on Too Shortโs 1988 album, Life IsโฆToo Short, and the Fillmore, San Francisco rapper would never look back.
After a short prison stint, 4-Tay started off his solo career with Rappinโ 4-Tay Is Back in 1991. Three years later, the follow-up album Donโt Fight the Feelin came, which included the hits โPlayaz Clubโ (which hit #36 on the Billboard Hot 100) and โIโll Be Aroundโ (which hit #39 on the Billboard Hot 100). His third studio album, 1996โs Off Parole, peaked at #10 on the Billboard charts, and also featured the radio smash, โAinโt No Playa (Playa Sh**)โ. Itโs safe to say, heโs had a prolific mainstream career, and has collaborated with some of rapโs biggest stars โ including Snoop Dogg, MC Breed, 8 Ball, and even Tupac on โOnly God Can Judge Meโ from the diamond-selling All Eyez On Me.
