We lost Street Knowledge in August of 2022. The Oakland rap veteran was one of the late Jacka’s proteges under his Artist Records label. He came to be known for his gritty street rap and technical delivery. Today we celebrate his birthday with the release of his “Too Short Freestyle”. He pays homage to another Oakland rap legend. He goes in on a gritty bass line interpolation of Too Short’s “Freaky Tales” and delivers the bars we’ve come to love and expect from him. Long Live Street Knowledge!
