PZ sits down with Thizzler to chop it up about “DenDen”

Pittsburg, CA’s @PZsolo delivers an 0n-point flow for this single “DenDen”! He talks big sh*t over this MGDIDIT produced beat. It’s almost 3 minutes of straight gas! From giving haters a cold shoulder to dreaming about a future where surviving isn’t an issue, PZ manifests a successful future in his lyrics. They’re dealt intentionally, and with just the right amount of bounce, in the CashInFast directed visual up top. We got the chance to ask PZ a few questions about his musical journey and what fans can expect next! Make sure you tap in with PZ on IG: @skeeteam_pz and read on! (Artist Submitted)

Thizzler: Where are you from? How was your upbringing?
PZ: Born and raised in the P (Pittsburg). My upbringing was regular to me. Broken homes with different struggles in each one. I learned no matter what, keep working for more.

T: How did you begin making music?
PZ: I started making music at KR Mack house in high school, he the one pushed me to start recording.

T: How did you get your rap name?
PZ: There’s a lot of background to the actual word ‘peezy’ in my city, but it started from a nickname we had for one of my older cousins. It was Peezy at first but I had to make it stand out so I kept it the two letters, both capitals.

T: How would you describe your musical style?
PZ: My musical style is unorthodox I think, I go wit what the beat make me feel and flow with that.

T: Tell me about “DenDen”.
PZ: “DenDen” originally is a childhood nickname from my family so I took it back a bit with the title. I was rebellious at a young age so I feel that name describes the song. A part of me.

T: What inspired this new single?
PZ: I had just got done doing some time outta state not too long ago and the beat with the words helped me breathe a lil bit.

T: How is it different than previous drops?
PZ: It’s different, more mature but still raw so a lot of people can feel it and relate

T: Is it part of a project? If so, can you tell me more about that?
PZ: As of right now, it’s a single. I wanna throw my singles out there, just keep dropping and get more feedback.

T: What message do you want fans to walk away with after listening to “DenDen”?
PZ: The message I want my fans to walk away is we all struggle and do our best to overcome any of em. Keep yo principles and push thru it.

T: What’s next?
PZ: What’s next is my video, “The Rim” featuring KR Mack, dropping on March 6th. So be looking for that.

T: Is there anything else you want to say?
PZ: S/O the whole Skeeteam, Pittsburg, and the 925!
