@Dame_Lillard dropped his new song “Blacklist”. With the assistance of Oakland’s @KevChoice and his piano, Dame D.O.L.L.A. raps about the George Floyd murder and protests. Dame drops bar after bar, speaking on the need for change in America; “Used to call us monkeys and slaves and we overcame/ Still our work is just beginning, protests look like parades”. This only one of Dame’s lines but “Blacklist” holds countless more on police brutality and the mistreatment of Black life in America.
