Arizona rapper Finesse The Best MDT arrives in a big way with his new album Finesse Allah. The new release serves as Finesse’s first time getting really serious with the music and showing fans what he can do. We got a chance to catch up with him and discuss the new release. Thizzler: Where are you from and how was your upbringing?
Finesse The Best MDT: I’m from Phoenix, AZ. My upbringing was rough lost a lot of people close to me gangbanging in and out of jail did 7 years before I was 21.
T: How did you begin making music?
FTB: I just started doing music for about a year and a half ago.
T: How did you get your rap name?
FTB: Rap name is my street name
T: How would describe your musical style?
FTB: West Coast.
T: How would you describe your musical style?
FTB: New project is straight heat real rap real facts. It shows my growth as an artist.
T: What inspired the project?
FTB: My fans inspired the project. They’ve been waiting on me to get serious with the music so here it is.
T: How is it different than previous works?
FTB: The production is all the way official. The lyrics too. Everything is on point.
T: What message do you want fans to walk away with after listening?FTB: Whatever message they take from it because different things apply to different people, but the album is full of game, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. But all in all, stay down till you come up like I did.
T: What’s next?
FTB: Next up is plenty more music. I’m going to continue dropping back to back.
