Vice God is back with her new slap and music video “New Strap”. She’s popular with the ladies and she’s also sanitary. So when she’s got a new interest, she also makes sure to purchase a new strap. She keeps a fresh one tucked. We got a chance to chop it up with her about her interesting new record to get a sense of how it came about. Check it out below. (Promoted)
Thizzler: Where are you from?
Vice God: Straight out the cosmos my god.
T: How was your upbringing?
VG: Shitty. But there was a lot of love. As much love as we knew how to give each other.
T: How did you begin making music?
VG: Music was always my escape for shit going on around me, but I didn’t really think about doing it til a couple years ago.
T: How did you get your rap name?
VG: It’s a reminder to myself, I am a god. That’s my surname, that’s my bloodline, who I really am. My vices, the shit that holds me back, is who am too. But I’m here to become a god of those vices, master myself, use it to manifest my own reality.
T: How would describe your musical style?
VG: I just do and say whatever the beat bring out. It’s kinda frustrating cause I’m supposed to put myself in a lane, for the business side of music. But fuck that shit. I just wanna be free, thats why I do music. For freedom. So I just get on the beat and be free. Sometimes it’s stupid shit. Sometimes its serious. Fuck it.
T: Tell me about the new visual
VG: Me and the young god just shot it real quick one night. I wanted to crash a dick store and shoot it in front of all the strap ons and fake dicks. I lost my old one when I gave Lyft back their rental car, so I needed a new one anyway. He was like “FUCK NO” so I did something else.
T: What is the meaning behind your visual?
VG: It’s something a lot of studs can relate to. I wanted to keep it real simple and natural. I came up wit the song quick off the top, so the video kinda matches that.
T: What inspired the visual?
VG: I actually had a bitch tell me I had to buy a new dick before I fucked her. I made her pay for it though, cause you got me fucked up. That shit expensive.
T: How is it different than previous releases?
VG: It’s more so different than what I’m gonna release next.
T:What message do you want fans to walk away with after listening?
VG: New bitch, new dick.
T: What’s next for Vice God?
VG: The top.
T: Is there anything else you want to say?
VG: Shoutout to YPTheCultLeader for the beat. Got a web series comin’ soon. Follow me on Instagram cause fuck Twitter and Facebook. @thevicegawd
