@thereallilslugg battles against dark forces on his latest release “Fighting Demons 2 (Devil Knockin’)”. He wrestles with the prospect of giving in to his vices to make a bag. He knows that it’s the Devil on his shoulder feeding him those ideas. He knows better than to listen to that voice. On this joint his approach sounds inspired by some of his Southern contemporaries such as Youngboy Never Broke Again and even OMB Peezy. Lil Slugg is clearly an artist that is serious about his pen game and artistry, so it’s cool to hear him experimenting with new styles and flows.
