@_WADE08_ has been laying low, but today has a 3-track project to show for his time away. The appropriately titled TUCKMODE finds the promising rapper and producer hybrid gliding on some impressive self-produced singles. Though only 3-tracks long, 08 gives us a few different flavors.
“LILSUMN” is the two-part intro that lays out WADE’s current mind-state and relationship to music. He’s hustling to achieve a dream that he fears will slip away if he isn’t proactive. “08LOVESTORY” is a smooth, but knocking ode to a lover that inspires him to be a better man. “WHITEBOYRICKSPOOKYSHIT” is the undeniable standout with its timely Halloween theme, banging beat, and easily repeatable refrain “had to fuck it up, had to fuck it up”.
