Sacramento rapper Mozzy, will be hosting a Provide For Your People giveback event for kids at Fourth Avenue Park (4040 4th Avenue) in Sacramento, CA on Saturday, October 6th from 10am-2pm. At the event, they will be repaving the basketball court, offering haircut vouchers, and handing out 400 backpacks, school supplies, shoes and a variety of food vendors. They will have games, face painting, a jump house for the children to enjoy. The event is sponsored by EMPIRE in partnership with the non profit Project Optimism Inc, which offers a mentorship program that connects college students and recent graduates with secondary school students. Mozzy who feels it’s imperative to give back to his community, who shared, “Giving back to the community that helped raise me is mandatory. It’s only natural for me to use my platform to provide opportunities and resources to those that need and deserve it.”
