@NyTookMyFlicks, long time friend & photographer of SOB x RBE, is now trying her hand at music. Just earlier this month she released her first music video for “Down to Ride” with Houston’s Cuban Doll. Today she delivers the music video for her new joint “Wake It Up”, which finds her gliding over a “Planet Rock” sampling production that you could just as easily imagine a member of SOB x RBE conquering.
On the new record, she warns listeners that they’ll regret sleeping on her soon enough. The Vallejo bred multi-disciplinary artist may have honed her photography skills and developed her network while traveling with SOB x RBE on their most recent tour, but she now has her sights set on becoming a reputable name in rap. On “Wake It Up”, she admits “I think they on me now cuz they see that I’m rapping”. Only time will tell if she’s on to something. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of her in the coming months.
