The fast rising East Oakland rapper ALLBLACK was seen tapping in with the Detroit rap community over the weekend. There have been long standing street ties between the Bay Area & Detroit since the days when Felix Mitchell ran operations in both cities. The bond between the two areas has only grown stronger ever since, especially where music is concerned. ALLBLACK tapped in with artists Team Eastside Peezy, Paid Will & GT.
Hopefully this means we’ll get some new collabs from ALLBLACK and some of the hot Detroit artists. Meanwhile, ALLBLACK tweeted about the response he’s been getting out in Detroit.
Mixing it up in Detroit isn’t the only thing up the Murder Dubs repping artist’s sleeve. Kenny Beats also announced that he & ALLBLACK were collaborating on new music. On top of this ALLBLACK teased their collaboration on his Instagram story.
ALLBLACK wasn’t finished getting shouted out by other big players in the rap game. Vince Staples appeared on the Joe Budden podcast for an interview & admitted that he currently has the pimp rapper in his regular rotation of slaps.
This is big for the Oakland rapper to expand his reach beyond the Bay Area! We’re obviously excited to hear these new collaborations. It’s dope to see that he’s beginning to receive more national attention.
