LoFiction – Take No L’s (prod. Ovrkast)

Oakland artist collective #LoFiction drops off well sampled anthem, “Take No L’s”. The LoFiction or Listener Opposed Fiction crew is a deep roster of Oakland creatives with a clear vision. Their mission statement: “We as listeners first, producers and rappers second hear and see through that wack sh*t, politics, silly beef. We create our own storylines that for us aren’t fiction, but an alternate dimension based on the options we were given as youth in amerikkka. Listen to what you oppose and create dissonance from it.” You can often find these bright minded creatives at Downtown Oakland’s Naming Gallery, where they are constantly performing, DJ’ing or chopping up beats while all playing a part in building a space in the city for authentic music, rooted right here in the town.
