@IAMSU returns tonight with a new release titled “Talk To Em'”. The single finds Su flowing over funky production which makes use of a bouncy bassline and IAMSU-style synths (that’s a thing right?). He goes in, all gas no brakes. The retro feel of the new track only makes this blogger consider how an IAMSU x SOB x RBE collab would sound. The cadence in which he delivers his extended verse at times feels like it could be influenced by the youthful energy and bounce that the rising Vallejo crew and the young rappers who have emulated their path have invigorated the Bay’s rap scene with. We call him Suzy Six Speed for a reason, IAMSU is known to be able switch gears in an instant, and he does just that a few times throughout the course of the minute and fifty-five seconds long record.
