@El_Space_Cadet drops a new EP called The Turtlenecks with contributions from Tone Oliver. The two both have reputations for crafting quality alternative hip-hop releases as solo artists, and that doesn’t change when they get together. They experiment with a few different sounds here, and are clearly having fun even when they’re making potent social critiques like on “Norman & Dennis”. We currently don’t know if there will ever be another Turtlenecks project, but we’re glad we got this one. Press play on the new EP up top.
