@RayanaJay is back with her new single “Sunkissed”. The Richmond born singer and songwriter’s latest release finds her expressing her love of Blackness, Black men, and Black love. She sings on the The Kount produced record that “you make me happy when skies are gray, never know how much I love you you, police you, and judge you, but don’t take my sunshine away”. While she acknowledges that it won’t always be easy, she’s dedicated to loving and being loved by her people. It’s an empowering record, it’s a love song, and thankfully it’s record from Rayana’s upcoming follow up to last year’s Sorry About Last Night.
