@MikosDaGawd refreshes and reworks @LosRakas booming slap “Y.L.S.”. Producer, Mikos Da Gawd, has been making his sound felt by the whole bay over the last year. From providing a landscape of new sounds for Zion I’s latest project, to creating a platform of moving melodies, on which, artists like Elujay, Rexx Life Raj, and Caleborate have offered some of their most critical works yet, Mikos Da Gawd is a major factor in Bay Area music right now and it sounds nothing like ‘Bay Area rap’ as we know it. Now he takes the muddy Los Rakas track “Y.L.S.” and flips it, bringing swift piano playing and rapid hats, to a grand piece moving in a whole different way.
