@RexxLifeRaj and @i_am_ymtk finally unleash their collaborative EP Emoji Goats. The Berkeley and Oakland artists are the kings of the melodic spitting that is featured throughout the 6 track project. They bring along Caleborate and P-Lo for features on “Merlot” and “Dance” respectively. Production is handled heavily by Ian McKee with contributions from Drew Banga, Kyle Betty and Ekzakt. Emoji Goats serves as the first release of 2017 from both of Raj and YMTK with the exception of YMTK’s single series with Ekzakt, Zeeky Minaj Vol. 1. These guys likely won’t keep us waiting too long for new solo releases, but Emoji Goats should be more than enough to hold down their hungry fan bases.
