Triple threat, @Wade08_ drops off a new EP entitled First Sunday. The 510 artist keeps his skills diversified as he continues to polish his rapping, producing, and engineering; all of which are present and commendable on Wade08’s First Sunday EP. The EP consists of four booming tracks entirely self-produced, mixed and mastered by Wade. He brings deafening bass while never sacrificing the melody or the presence of his voice on each song.
While others may lean towards specifically relying on eccentrically heavy production or the strength of their vocals to carry a track, Wade manages to efficiently utilize all aspects of the mix. Using an indefectible blend of vocals, melody and bass, he manipulates his sound in a way that allows each factor present in the song to play a leading role without outdoing the other.
Wade08’s First Sunday EP is grabbing and consuming for many reasons, but its greatest standout reflects the strengths that arise when an artist is in control of every aspect of their craft.
