@MBK__Zu & @_Breeezo_ rationalize pain’s role in life, in their captivating @ViaEndz visual for “Right Now”. After suffering the tough loss of their fallen brother, AyeGee, earlier this year, the two Berkeley artists contemplate acceptance on “Right Now”. Zu’s lyrics “Crying out the pain, but really though what the f*ck is life without the pain?” reflect his thought process while coming to terms with the tragedy. However dealing with the low point has appears to have propelled Zu to bounce back with perspective, giving him the means to follow up his distressed lyrics with the hopeful and affirming lyrics “How the fuck we gonna have trees without the rain? All these hoes gon be surprised when I’m inside the range”. Zu, determined to over come the hardships, hungrily strives to accomplish his goals and then some with his brother’s spirit in mind on “Right Now” and the chilling scenes from Via Endz, rightly encapsulate the sentiment of the track. Endz merges the moody instrumental and painstakeningly honest lyricism with raw shots of the overcast sea scape, cutting in and out from vaulted footage of Zu and AyeGee before his passing. “Right Now” is the first video from Zu’s recently released #ME mixtape and the testament of a track received a signficantly stunning visual treatment from Via Endz. My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) is a more apt title for the Berkeley collective than ever before, tune in.
