@RootsAnBranches , DJ Basta a multimedia producer out of Oakland, releases instrumental EP, Lightforms. Self described as “a light painting, illuminating spirits passing thru the physical plane…”, DJ Basta fuses ambient jazz, electronic, and hip hop elements into his three track EP. In addition to the EP Basta teamed up with cinematographer, Mike Park, to create a visual for the EP’s track, “The Ark.” The video, available on Roots C& Branches’ Youtube, cinematically walks you through a festival of colors, which paint a picture of what you’re hearing on Basta’s Lightforms EP.
