@JustLately returns today with the @El_Space_Cadet produced “Goddam”. The new release finds J.Lately doing what he does most and that’s baring his soul. Music is obviously Lately’s passion, and the love he has for it does not come without sacrifices. He’s working hard to achieve his dreams, and at times it comes at the cost of relationships with family, friends and lovers.
Cadet’s flip of K.P. and Envyi’s 1998 smash “Swing My Way”, gives the joint a familiar bounce, despite its dark content. If you listen hard enough you might identify one of West Oakland’s finest as the voice belting raspy harmonies in the background. Be on the look out for more from J.Lately, who undoubtedly has some gems in store for waiting fans.
