In explaining her name change, the emcee said, “i haven’t felt like hyphy, lil freckle faced, battle rapping blimey in a long time. i feel like a woman. an experienced one, with miles on my odometer and stories to tell”. “Petaluma” is one of those stories, and we’re looking forward to hearing more.
