Friday, January 9th, Thizzler.com presents Believe the Hype, a concert showcasing up & coming local hip-hop artists that have been hand-selected by Thizzler On The Roof founder Matt Werner, at the Legionnaire Saloon located at 2272 Telegraph Avenue. Doors open at 9:00pm and all proceeds will be donated to Oakland non-profit Youth Radio.
The Believe The Hype showcase is the first in a series produced by Thizzler.com that is meant to put a spotlight on great local performers. All artists performing have been hand-selected by Thizzler.com founder Matt Werner as artists to watch, and as founder of a Bay Area hip-hop platform that attracts over 9.5 million combined views per month, he definitely has a unique insight into the local music scene. The first Believe The Hype showcase features Symba, Young Gully, Nick James, Z-Man, RBC Bugzy and TyreseJohnsonMusic.
