I know there are probably some exceptions, but it seems like the only time rappers make the news, it’s because they either died or are going to jail. Where’s the local news when Mistah F.A.B. gives away thousands of turkeys and backpacks to families in need? But let a rapper get arrested, and it’s guranteed that it’ll be plastered all over the place. Anyways, it’s sad to see our local hip-hop pioneers get locked up. And whether the guys at Thizz are guilty or not, hopefully this makes every rapper using music as a form of money laundering think twice about doing it.
On the release tip, this was a ridiculous 7 days. While we all knew to expect hell of new music on 4/20, who had any idea that so many heavy hitters were going to drop new projects the week after? There were 9 free albums from the likes of Roach, Erk, Bobby Brackins and Skipper, as well as 4 Albums for sale. Hit the jump to get download links for them all.
